Our Handwriting Without Tears program teaches letter writing using chalkboards. Here you see students using the tools independently to practice our whole group teaching!
More name work!! All of our learners could use name writing practice! By the end of kindergarten we would like them to write their name with the first letter upper case and the rest lower case :-)
Keep practicing at home!
We have been reading little paper books that we are keeping in our private reading baskets. You see the baskets in this photo. These baskets have your child's thinking and learning binder, non fiction books and little paper pattern books. When working on pattern books during thinking and learning time, readers are to circle known words or heart words. A list of heart words will be coming home soon for you to practice with your child!
