We have continued our nonfiction study during readers workshop. This week we learned to work with partners to build on our thinking. Below you see your readers practicing good partner habits. They sit knee to knee, with one book in the center as they discuss the text. We learned to mark "WOW" pages (pages that make us say WOW!) or pages in which we connect with. Readers were given a post it note to mark the pages they wanted to share with their partners. They were so eager to share! It's wonderful to work with children who are so interested and engaged in their learning.
