We began at the beginning of the month recording what we know about motion on our new K.L.E.W.S (What we Know, What we Learn, Evidence of learning, What we Wonder and Science Terms) chart:
We had some wonders that led to some new science terms right away!
Then we went on a motion hike on the playground!

Ask your scientist about these pictures, how each piece of equipment moved and how we could change the speed of motion!
We learned something is in motion if it is moving :-)
This past week we recorded what we've learned so far in our science notebooks...
